Is walking far away?

Alex would rather climb over or through something than just go in a straight line. Is it too early to put up a jungle gym?

Helen loves being able to pull up on Mommy

Oh Mommy, what pretty hair you have. Just let me play with a little!

There is nothing better than coming home from work and having three babies swarm into your lap

Hey Mom, thanks for getting us something new to climb on!

Bath time with the girls
(and yes, of all the educational toys we give them to play with, Helen would rather play with the empty shampoo bottle)

Mommy washes and Daddy dries

Cecil can manage 30 guys in a combat zone, but give him a baby sleeper with snaps up the front and he's completely at a loss

Our wonderful nanny Krista on her last day - we are so sad she had to leave us but we are looking forward to our new nanny Jen

Helen and Daddy - is there any doubt these two are related?

The kids have definitely warmed up to Cecil. They love crawling on him and getting him to play with them. But they still love to give him a run for his money when it comes time to change a diaper or get dressed. He's learning the tricks of the trade though.

Helen is a pro at pulling herself up on anything. She has even begun testing her limits. She loves to crawl over to the TV stand and then make sure we are looking while she pulls up to within reach of the DVD player. Then while smiling and laughing at us she reaches for the buttons while we tell her no and pull her away. Then she turns around and does it over, and over, and over again. What a fun game for mommy and daddy! Ella is pulling up very well now and Alex is getting better and better. Helen is starting to cruise a little and we suspect it will not be long before she is attempting her first steps. How scary!

Cecil is enjoying his time off before he goes back to work and we are enjoying spending time as a family. It is really nice to be able to go places with the five of us. We are going to attempt the ice cream shop and the beach this weekend. Wish us luck!!
