Tinker Bell, Cinderella, and Buzz Lightyear are all ready to hit the town!

Cinderella takes her princess duties very seriously and sits like a lady

Buzz is very excited about the addition of wings to his costume. Although he was not used to his new wingspan and took out his sisters on several occassions by smacking them in the face with his wings

Tinker Bell all assembled. It did not take long to lose the wand, for the crown to fall off, and the wings to go crooked. But she looked good when we started!

Grandma and Grandpa stayed home and handed out candy so that we could hit the streets

Coming back from another big candy score. We practiced trick or treat and thank you before we left but once they saw how much candy they were getting, they started to just dive right into the bowls. If Helen could have had her way, she would have eaten it all as fast as it was going into her bucket.

A big thank you to Kendal who came trick or treating with us and took all of these pictures. He also helped us keep track of the kids which was not an easy task with them running in different directions amid hundreds of other kids. But we all had a great time!

The kids had mother's night at school but I was out of town for work so Cecil had to go for me. Our nanny Heather still got them all dressed and ready and got these pictures before they left.

We headed to another wedding and on the way the kids got to watch movies in the car. Here's Alex enthralled with whatever he is watching

One of our favorite restaurants serves ice cream. Here we are on a Sunday night enjoying some post dinner ice cream. Always a messy endeavor.

September 2010

Alex decided months before Halloween that he wanted to be Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. So I found a used costume for him to wear so he could be Buzz for more than just one night.

Buzz in all of his glory (he wears this thing a lot so it is definitely getting some good use. He even insists that I call him Buzz instead of Alex when he is wearing it)
